Becoming the Now... There is no getting there
One of the great illusions that have punished many the minds of people is the idea that you are destined to fulfill some sort of life purpose. It’s a great struggle, even in inspiration, to spend your every day pursuing a grandiose end result that will be the ostensive final chapter in the book of your relevance in this lifetime.
Do you find yourself living for or waiting to discover your life purpose?
You are a ceaselessly creative force; capable of eliciting any form of sensation and every kind of reflection in the dream of your reality. Do you really believe you are here for one inalienable reason?
Your identity or persona is a vessel to absorb an infinite array of limiting beliefs. Most of the time, you’re not even consciously-aware about how or when a particular belief permeated your being. Beliefs kind of have a way of insinuating themselves into your persona and silently directing your attention to the circumstances and appearances that prove them true. Limiting beliefs are almost like a cancer cell taking over your body and harming the health and vitality of your physical body.
The idea that you’re supposed to get somewhere or have a definitive purpose can feel daunting. Yes, a deeper purpose can also kick you in the ass and help you rise to the occasion, but what and whose occasion are you rising for? If you acknowledge that in The Dream, everything and everyone is an expression of you, who’s trying to impress upon you that you need to formulate this brilliant purpose in the first place?
When you get back down to acknowledging that everything is constantly Becoming, relentlessly changing into expressing the infinite possibilities that is your natural state, there is no getting there. The whole concept of a final destination is another farce or illusion taking place in your dream. Maybe you enjoy this illusion, and perhaps the idea you must reveal your true value for the world to see has put an unfair pressure upon you.
You are always and eternally Becoming the Now… When you plan on manifesting a particular future that takes place days, weeks, months, or even years from now, you’re simultaneously creating the limiting belief that you might actually remain somebody you’d recognize when that time comes. When you cryogenically freeze yourself, or your persona into this set, definable character, you are also in the process cutting yourself off from your natural state.
In other words, believing that you are a finite identity is the very essence of resistance to the unlimited nature of who you really are!
You are not your identity. Your identity is just one possibility out of unlimited potentials for how you can appear in your dream. Does that resonate, or do you feel internal conflict when you read that last comment?
What does it feel like when you abandon the idea of preparing for any kind of planned future, regardless of any sense of purpose, or lack thereof?
There is an unlimited stream of information, inspiration, ideas, opportunities, and reflections coming to you, RIGHT NOW. You don’t need to prepare for receiving any of these things. You haven’t any need to go to school to learn how to Become a particular version of yourself, who performs some essential skill, like being a doctor (for example). Yes, somewhere in your dream, somebody will perform that possibility (being a doctor). However, if that’s not what you CHOOSE to include for yourself in your dream, it’s not right or wrong… it’s just how you’re playing with possibilities.
Nobody taught me how to write, or form sentence structures, and yet you get the gist about what I’m conveying, right? I didn’t go to school. I didn’t prepare for a particular future. Do you think I foresaw myself writing about possibility? Nope. It’s just one expression I’ve enjoyed playing with for the last couple years. I may stop doing it after this article. I don’t know. I enjoy watching what I create, and yes, I surprise myself all of the time.
Are you living your dream? Or have you given your power away to the belief that you must embark on a particular path to meet the expectations put upon you by family, The Universe, God, or even your present version of your own identity?
What are you Becoming RIGHT NOW?
Where’s your attention?
What does it feel like?
Are you there yet?
